Our outlook for the Equity REITs Industry is neutral relative to the market, but decidedly cautious. Upward momentum for interest rates is bearish for REITs as is tightening lending standards for commercial real estate, and the external indicators in our REITs scorecard are bearish. Look for us to downgrade Real Estate to underweight if rates continue to rise and our technical indicators start to turn bearish.
