Mobile NDR Security

The first time you start the Mobile NDR application on your mobile device, the system will have to determine who you are. You will be asked to provide your Ned Davis Research (NDR) user name and password. Once the system has validated you, your device PIN will be recognized every time you start the application. If at any time you would like to log out of the application, there is a 'Log Out' menu item in the side navigation.

Recent Publications

The Recent Publications menu item will display links to recent editions of our publications. This is the same list that is available from the ndr.com front page.

Saved Publications

NDR publications can be saved to your device for offline viewing. To save a publication, either open the publication then tap the 'More' button (three vertical dots) in the top navigation bar, then tap 'Save' in the pop-up menu. Or, while viewing a list of publications, swipe on the row for the publication you want to save, then tap the '+' button that is revealed. The same actions delete an existing saved publication.

Saved publications are indicated with a green checkmark, making it easier to know what you have already saved. A connection to the Internet is required to download and save a publication.

Publication Viewing Modes

Relatively recent versions of our publications can be viewed in full PDF mode or in text-only mode, adjustable from the Settings menu. Archived publications, available via our Search feature described below, will only be available as full PDFs. Other archived and searchable content will only be available in their original format, either PDF or HTML. Mobile NDR supports the same touch screen zooming and panning capabilities that most PDF- or HTML-based applications do.

The Search menu item provides access to all recent and archived publications, charts, reports, stock and ETF tearsheets, and studies that you are authorized to view. The filters on the search screen allow you to narrow down product types.

Conference Calls

Recorded conference calls can now be played on your device through the Mobile NDR app under the Conference Calls menu. Tap the conference call you wish to listen to and playback will begin after a moment.

Recommendations Dashboard

The Recommendations menu item displays our asset, equity, fixed income, and sector recommendations and weightings.

Supported Devices and Troubleshooting

Mobile NDR supports iOS (iPhone/iPad) devices running iOS 9+ and 10+ versions, as well as Android devices with Android OS 6+ and 7+ versions.

For Android Tablet users: we are currently using a plugin supported by Google to render our PDFs. This plugin has a known bug that results in a blurry display. In order to get a clearer view, please use native gestures to zoom and navigate the PDF, such as pinch- and tap-to-zoom, drag and swipe. We apologize for the inconvenience and will update the app as a solution becomes available.

Mobile NDR depends on the device having a reliable Internet connection in order to communicate with NDR servers. Most of the problems people might experience while using Mobile NDR are a result of some type of problem with Internet connectivity from the device. For example, the application will not work if the device is in Airplane mode. Slow response times from the application point to poor or intermittent Internet connectivity.

If you are having a problem that is not related to your internet connectivity or carrier network, or you are not sure if this is the case, contact NDR technical support at 1-800-241-0621 or +1 941-412-2300 or ClientTechSupport@ndr.com.
