The year-over-year change in the CPI bottomed in April 2015 and continues to rise. Financials has underperformed during periods of a rising CPI historically, but we think that has more to do with the deterioration of credit conditions than the price of consumer goods. For Financials, focus more on the NDR Business Credit Conditions index than the CPI index.
